We've Raised $60M to Automate Real Estate Law With AI
Announcing our Series B fundraise led by Brighton Park Capital

January 23, 2026

We’re thrilled to announce that Orbital has raised a $60M Series B funding round, led by New York-based growth fund Brighton Park Capital. This is a huge milestone for our team and a testament to the incredible work happening across our London and New York offices.
Transforming the Legal Backbone of Real Estate
Real estate is, by far, the world’s largest asset class. Yet the legal work that underpins it remains slow, fragmented, and largely manual—opaque work that in many cases hasn’t meaningfully changed since the 19th century.
At Orbital, we’re changing that with AI purpose-built for real estate. Our technology is designed to meet the deeply specific demands of real estate legal work, a practice area materially underserved by the broader legaltech AI landscape. By combining AI optimized for real estate law with spatial visualization, mapping, and real estate data, we automate real estate legal work and enable transactions to progress faster.
2025 in Numbers
We ended 2025 supporting 200,000 real estate transactions across the US and UK, and crossed a major milestone: 100 billion tokens processed through our AI platform. Our products are now used by hundreds of law firms across AM Law 100, Magic Circle, and beyond, as well as in-house legal teams, real estate developers, title companies, and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).
What This Funding Means
This investment will fuel our next chapter:
- US Expansion: Following the opening of our New York office in 2025, we plan to double headcount and establish additional US hubs in cities like Chicago and Austin
- Product Investment: Building a single, secure workspace for real estate legal work across the lifecycle of the entire real estate asset class
- Team Growth: We’re hiring intensively across Product, Engineering, AI, Data Science, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
Our Investors
The round was led by Brighton Park Capital, with Kevin Magan joining our board. We’re also welcoming new investors who deeply understand the legal and real estate sectors:
- REV (the venture capital arm of RELX Group, which owns LexisNexis Legal & Professional)
- The LegalTech Fund
- Moderne Ventures
- Grosvenor Group (an international real estate company and existing Orbital customer)
We’re grateful to our existing investors—JLL Spark, Outward VC, Seedcamp, and LocalGlobe—who continue to support us on this journey.
What Our Partners Are Saying
Kevin Magan, Partner at Brighton Park Capital:
“We recognized immediately that Orbital is targeting a critical gap in the legal AI sector. Real estate law is one of the most complex legal markets globally, yet it has remained dramatically under-automated. Orbital’s focus on accuracy, real estate domain expertise, and real-world workflows positions them to define a new category in legal automation.”
A Global Team with Big Ambitions
While Orbital has always been built with international ambitions, it has distinctly UK roots that will remain strong. We’ll continue to grow our Product and Engineering teams out of London, while expanding our commercial presence across the United States.
